The American movie star took to Twitter to reveal that the first UK branch of Wahlburgers will be located at 8-9 James Street, Covent Garden.
The site was secured by leisure and hospitality specialists Restaurant Property.
"We are very pleased to have secured this site for Mark, it’s the first of many planned,” said David Rawlinson, founder of Restaurant Property.

The family-run burger chain already has multiple locations across the US.
Wahlberg confirmed that building starts this summer, with the new restaurant set to open later this year.
“I have been so excited about this announcement, I have been having to keep it a secret for such a long time, but finally…I am able to announce that Wahlburgers is coming to the UK.
“I cannot wait, I look forward to seeing you guys in the UK this summer.
